Viking Lavrinenkov

Viking Lavrinenkov cruises the waters of Europe’s third-longest river, the Dnieper, through the enchanting landscape of Ukraine. Explore the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, “mother of Russian cities,” and enjoy your cruise through vast plains and farmland on your way to the legendary town of Odessa and the Crimean port of Sevastopol. Viking Lavrinenkov, built to European standards in 2001 and partly refurbished in 2003, features two restaurants and two bars, three walk-around open air promenade decks, a sun deck, a sauna, a hairdresser, a doctor, and 110 comfortable outside staterooms each equipped with air conditioning.

Sun Deck

Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery as you sail past palaces, towns, villages, trees and vineyards. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair—cushions are available. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. There is an access way from the sun deck to the bridge.

Sky Bar

This enclosed bar on the sun deck level seats 80 passengers at small tables designed to accommodate 2, 4 or 6 guests. A fantastic location for relaxing with friends while enjoying the scenery through panoramic windows.

Panorama Bar

This enclosed bar at the forward end of the upper deck level seats 50 passengers and is an excellent spot for watching the scenery, especially during arrival at one of your exciting destinations.

Svir Restaurant

The Svir Restaurant is one of two restaurants aboard the ship. With seating for 70 passengers at small tables designed to accommodate 2, 4 or 6 guests, this is a smaller and more intimate setting than Neva Restaurant on the middle deck. The dining room is open seating, so you are free to sit where you like—a great way to make new friends. The atmosphere is casual but elegant, with high-quality table linens, china, cutlery and glassware.

Promenade Deck

The middle deck features one of the ship’s three walk-around, open air Promenade Decks. You can watch the scenery from every possible vantage point or enjoy a romantic stroll around the ship any time of the day or evening.

Library

The library has comfortable seating and excellent reading light. Our ships’ libraries carry approximately 80 books, in various languages but mostly English, and several games such as chess, backgammon and playing cards. Located at the foredeck, the library also offers excellent scenic views.

Neva Restaurant

The Neva Restaurant is one of two restaurants aboard the ship. With seating for 154 passengers, this is a larger and more lively setting than Svir Restaurant on the upper deck. The dining room is open seating, so you are free to sit where you like—a great way to make new friends. The atmosphere is casual but elegant, with high-quality table linens, china, cutlery and glassware.
