Samsara Spa (Gym, Jacuzzi, Beauty Salon, Sauna, Steam Room)

Samsara Spa (Centro Benessere Samsara) is located on decks 11 and 12, covering an area of 19680 square feet. Located within Samsara Spa is a gym and fitness area, salon, UVA-ray solarium, relaxation area, treatment rooms and thermal rooms and a Thalassotherapy pool. Treatments on offer include massages with either oils or volcanic rocks and steam clay baths. Thermal rooms include the dry heats of the Tepidarium (gently heated ceramic loungers), and Laconium (a hot room similar to a sauna but lower in humidity) and the Thermal Bath (a warm water spa). The Thalassotherapy pool is a warm mineral rich sea water pool with hydrotherapy water jets to relieve aches and pains. "

The ship has 5 jacuzzis. They can be found as follows:- Two on deck 9 by the Lido dell'Ondina pool. Two on deck 10 (one each overlooking the side of the ship near the Ristorante Buffet Ca' d'Oro). One on deck 11 by the Lido Belvedere pool. In addition the Costa Favolosa has 6 Samsara Suites which each have their own jacuzzis.

The gym is open all day and is located on deck 11 of Samsara Spa. It features a range of cardiovascular and weight training Technogym equipment along with a qualified trainer and an area for fitness classes ranging from aerobics (free of charge) to pilates (10 euros per session). Under 16's are not permitted to use the gym equipment.

Venus Beauty is the ship's unisex salon offering a variety of services from manicures and pedicures to hair cuts and styling. It is located within Samsara Spa on deck 11.
