Viking Octanis: Adventures on the High Seas

Viking Cruises has taken the expedition cruise world by storm with the launch of Viking Octantis – the first ship dedicated to adventure cruising. With its signature attention to detail and modern Scandinavian design, guests will feel right at home on the 378-passenger ship. All meals are included in the price and a variety of options for those with allergies or special dietary preferences are available. The Viking Octantis deck plan has been carefully designed to maximize the flow of the ship and ensure that even when at capacity, it never feels too busy. There are plenty of public spaces to explore, including the dynamic Aula lecture center and serene outdoor Finse Terrace – built with expedition cruising in mind. Passengers will enjoy the classic and modern design of the cabins, as well as their roominess and extensive storage. Food-wise, passengers can expect high-quality dishes with plenty of variety, served in four restaurants – including the much-loved Manfredi's. Guests can also take advantage of the World Cafe buffet, the Grill, and the Sushi Bar. The best part of the Viking Octantis is the outdoor spaces. From the open seating area at the top of the ship on Deck 6 to the Aquavit Terrace on Deck 5, the Bow on Deck 3 and the Finse Terrace on Deck 2, there are plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with nature. Plus, the ship features two yellow submarines, offering passengers an underwater experience like no other. Viking Octantis follows COVID-19 safety protocols and has an onboard medical lab.
