The Carnival Splendor offers interesting dining choices such as Tandoor, which has a traditional clay oven. For something low-key, head to the Burrito Bar. Indulge in juicy steaks at the Pinnacle Steakhouse or try tapas at The Taste Bar. How about a Seaside Brunch featuring French toast and huevos rancheros?
Kids of every age love the Splash Park and Carnival Twister Waterslide, but if you’re in need of relaxation, the Cloud 9 Spa and Thalassotherapy pool awaits. POOL DAY! Whether today's the day for a bit of a dip, a dash of splash or even some swimming — or just a serious poolside lounging session — your Carnival cruise has the just pool for you. In fact, pools are so important to a great cruise that we designed many of our ships to have two of them. At an aft pool you'll catch a breeze, plus a sea view featuring the ship's wake, while midship pools have an grand view of a different kind: the big screen's right there for the viewing. And no matter which you find yourself chilling in, the sunbeams are yours for the soaking.
Miniature Golf
Ah, imagine a perfect day out on the links, the golfer's zen of the ball, the hole and nothing in between but well-manicured fairway... plus one cactus, a treasure chest... and wait, is that a windmill in the way? Just who designed this course anyway? Whoever it was, they had one thing in mind — maximum fun for mini-golfers, big and small! That's precisely why you'll find a course on every Carnival ship, where you can hit the holes and take in everything you’d expect, like the sights and the sounds... plus the seagulls.
Twister Waterslide
Above the ship you'll find the shining sun, but that's not all — basking in its rays is a gleaming symbol of fun, a monument to merriment... a sign of splashy-good times to come. Spot the spiraling Twister Waterslide atop your Carnival ship and you can be sure that your vacation comes complete with twists, turns and squeals of thrilled delight. Countless gallons of water course through the entire length of this slide, so you're by no means dry when you start, but by the time you reach the end — hundreds of feet later — you reach new levels of soaking, splashing down in that classic waterslide photo-finish: hands-up, eyes wide and nothing but exhilaration on your face.
Fitness Center
We have some bad news for you — your ship has a gym. In other words, there’s no excuse for leaving your fitness routine back on land. That’s great news, however, for your body, which will definitely benefit from all the extra energy that vacationing pumps directly into you. And let’s not forget the extra time you’ll have, since you won’t be waking up and spending most of the day at the office or anything like that. If those were some of your go-to excuses, we’re sorry, but we all know this is important. Why not treat yourself to some of our fitness classes — you might even have a little fun while you do something great for yourself!
Cloud 9 Spa
Sometimes you just need to get away… from all that vacation. Seriously? Look, we know that sitting at home now, it’s hard for you to imagine wanting a vacation from your vacation, but trust us — it’s nice to have a place to unwind after the day’s excitement, to escape to a world designed from the ground up for relaxation. Cloud 9 Spa staff are masters — no, artists — trained in the craft of simply helping you chill. What’s their secret? Massages, facials, body wraps and more — these are the tools of the trade… and the trade is ultimate relaxation.
Jogging Track
Jogging may not immediately come to mind when you think of things to do at sea, but it probably should. You don’t have to walk on water, you just have to get on a Carnival cruise. After all, if you’re going to jog, you’d be hard-pressed to find a place to do it with a more scenic view, or a more refreshing breeze — both of these are available in abundance when you go for an open-air jog on the upper-deck. Jogging tracks are available on all Carnival ships, and are even padded for long-distance comfort.
Serenity Adult Only Retreat
Somebody at Carnival knows just what you need, and it's pretty much exactly the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat. Look, you'll still be on the same ship as the kids, the hoopla, and all the Carnival-style excitement… but you could easily forget, because when you’re at Serenity you could not be further from it all. The world you'll find yourself in is one of complete peace, sea breezes, swaying hammocks and, of course, a nearby bar. It's the place to get done the kind of stuff you just can't seem to do anywhere else — reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or do absolutely, blissfully, nothing at all.
Trivia
The word trivia comes from “trivial,” which basically means ‘stuff that’s not important to know.’ Wait… unimportant?! Not if you’re planning on walking away with an unlimited supply of bragging rights… good for the rest of your cruise, not to mention when you get home. Don’t just show what you know — flaunt it. Here, being a “know-it-all” pays off.

If you love to play video games, you’re in luck. Our video arcade boasts a huge array of games, and is open to players of all ages, all night and all day. So get some tokens from the vending machine and let the fun times begin. Challenge your friends to a game, or just see if you can beat the top score. Carnival LIVE not only takes you to great destinations, but makes getting there half the fun. Cruise to the usual stunning spots, and while in one port, an all-time favorite musician or comedian will board the ship and put on an amazing show. And for the entire cruise, you’re in good company… you’re sailing with a shipful of your fellow fans. Choose a fave — taking the stage on Carnival LIVE sailings in 2016 will be music legends Gladys Knight, Journey, KC & The Sunshine Band and Trace Adkins, plus uproariously funny Kathy Griffin.
DJ Irie
Nobody can get the party started like a great DJ, right? That's why we've brought DJ IRIE into the mix (pun intended) to make the nightlife on board Carnival hotter than ever. He'll be heading up "DJ IRIE's Spin'iversity," a program designed to train our DJs to keep their spinning skills sharp and their personalities party-ready. Oh, and as for music, graduates will be spinning expanded musical catalogs in clubs across the fleet for maximum guest body-rocking.
The Punchliner Comedy Club
There's chuckle-funny, then there's laughing-so-hard-you-can-barely-breathe funny. To take our Punchliner Comedy Club talent way over the top, we've teamed up with renowned comedian and TV personality George Lopez. George is our 'curator of comedy,' our 'finder of funny,' our… 'locator of laugh-out-loud' (sorry, we'll leave the jokes to him), helping select talent for our fleetwide Punchliner Comedy Clubs.
Piano Bar
Play it again, Sam. Or Diana. Or whatever your name is. Because this is the bar where you call the shots – and the songs. Pull up a seat, order your favorite cocktail, and let your friendly piano player know the songs you'd like to hear. Then join the sing-along for a hand-clapping, foot-tapping, finger-snapping good time. Don't feel like flexing your vocal cords? No worries. Shy songbirds are welcome here, too. Seaday Brunch
Forget what “they” say — the most important meal of the day is brunch. Slumberers can sleep in and still enjoy breakfast favorites, while early-risers get a head-start on lunch. And Seaday Brunch brings everybody’s favorite mid-morning meal to your Carnival cruise, and does it right. You’ll enjoy huevos rancheros, special french toast, loaded mac-n-cheese… and yes, more ways to cook eggs than we even thought was possible. Chow down and fuel up — you’ve got lots of exploring to do, across the ship, for the rest of the day.
Dining Room
“Hey, which side does the fork go on?” is a question you’ll never have to ask at a dining room dinner aboard a Carnival cruise… we set the table for you. We also bring to the table a full three courses in an experience that’s filling, but never stuffy — after all, you’re just as likely to catch waiters table-dancing as you are to order dessert. Dessert’s included (along with the rest of your meal, by the way) in your fare. But don’t skip straight to dessert, because the main course is the main attraction — drop in daily and enjoy a rotating menu of delectable favorites like steak, roasted duck, scallops and prime rib.
Lido Restaurant
Featuring a nice variety of casual dining options like Mongolian Wok, Chef's Choice, Salad Bar, Carnival Deli and more, the Lido Restaurant has something — or more likely, at least a few somethings — to satisfy your craving. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and food options for everyone, you can enjoy your personal favorites while dining in the company of family and friends. It’s also where you can find our pizza station and soft serve and frozen yogurt… both open 24 hours a day, which ought to be enough for anybody.
Steakhouse
Turn your special vacation in the direction of delicious — book a table for an unforgettably delectable evening at the Steakhouse. Our menu features mouthwatering premium cuts of beef cooked to your exact specifications, as well as a fantastic selection of seafood, entrées, gourmet appetizers and an extensive wine list. The atmosphere pairs remarkably well with — and perhaps even enhances — the culinary creations of our gourmet chefs. Tip: Like any destination restaurant, reservations for Steakhouse are highly recommended. Your meal includes an appetizer, salad, entrée, side and dessert.

So you're in the mood for some good eats, but you’d rather stay in your comfy, cozy stateroom? Really, who could blame you? While aboard, this is the place that will shiver your timbers and warm you to the bone, 24 hours a day, with a Margherita, Funghi, Prosciutto, Pepperoni or Quatttro Formaggi pizza served with a delicious Caesar salad. The Taste Bar
A voyage to new destinations is the perfect time to try new things… and here’s the perfect place: The Taste Bar. Stop by for a taste of the flavors awaiting you at dining venues across the Carnival fleet. Pick up a complimentary appetizer before dinner for a taste of something different.
The Chef's Table
Treat your taste buds to the experience of a lifetime, culminating in a sumptuous multicourse dinner hosted by one of our master chefs. Your VIP experience starts with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for a select group of 14, followed by a tour to see the galley in operation. The evening concludes with a mind-blowing full-service dinner of amazing appetizers, entrees and desserts not found on our regular dining menus. Tip: Reserve early because this once-in-a-lifetime experience has limited seating. Reservations can be made at the ship’s Guest Services desk.
Coffee Bar
Pause your vacation and treat yourself to a well-deserved break with a specialty coffee drink or freshly-brewed tea… plus some delicious homemade pastries. Or, for an even sweeter option, stop by for a milkshake, slice of cake or cookie.
Mongolian Wok
Chow down on some delicious Asian goodness. First, select your noodles and veggies. Then tell one of our chefs which sauce and meat you want in the wok. Will it be mussels and Szechuan? Beef and Thai barbecue? Chicken and black bean? Don’t worry, the decision doesn’t have to be final — you can come back to Mongolian Wok and try all the combos your heart desires!
Swirls
Got room for dessert? Sure you do! Swirls ice cream lets you enjoy the sweeter side of brain freeze with a treat that’ll have you smiling from ear to ear. Choose from chocolate, vanilla or strawberry… or make your own mix swirled as high as you can balance it. Open on Lido deck 24/7, our frozen yogurt and soft-serve ice cream is a great way to beat the heat all day, or the perfect nightcap after a long evening of fun.

Why should you eat on anyone’s schedule but your own? Munch to the beat of your own clock at the dining room — sit-down dinner service is available daily to early birds at 6 pm and to night owls at 8:15. More of a free bird? Take the Your Time Dining option and come in for dinner when the mood strikes — we’ll seat you and get you feasting in no time. (Just a reminder: casual food options are always available around the clock.)
The Carnival Deli
Looking for a little taste from the old neighborhood? Pile 'em high at the Carnival Deli. Enjoy old time favorites like a hot pastrami on rye, grilled Reuben, or roasted turkey breast on a country roll. Our sandwiches and wraps are always hand-carved and served fresh with cole slaw or relish. Come by, satisfy your craving for a great sandwich and make sure you don’t forget the kosher dill.
Burrito Bar
Roll it, wrap it, stuff it — however you like it, you'll love these made-to-order burritos. Customize each one with your choice of freshly grilled chicken, beef or shrimp. Since no burrito is complete without salsa and sour cream, you can pile it on as thick as you’d like. For that extra kick, make yours as hot or as mild as your taste buds can handle — whatever makes you smile (or wince, as it may be). So make sure you take a guac over to Burrito Bar for your fresh-mex fix.
Good Eats
When it comes to eating well for dinner, the name says it all. Good Eats is just the spot to enjoy a casual self-serve dinner aboard. Enjoy New York strip steak, broiled pork chops served with white rice or roasted potato, a carving station and so much more. There's something different on the menu every night, so you can come back and try something new. It's always a good time when you spend dinner time at Good Eats.
Chef's Choice
Get a taste of the world as the chef throws the spotlight on a variety of dishes from a different country each day. Enjoy shrimp quesadillas and tortilla soup from Mexico, braised beef bordelaise plus potato and leek soup from France, jerk chicken and Jamaican pepper stew from the Caribbean, or Manhattan clam chowder and southern fried chicken from the good ol’ USA. Off the Grill
Join our masters of the grill as they practice their craft right in front of you, serving up outdoor favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs and grilled chicken. Either way, Off the Grill is the perfect place to enjoy those poolside classics… by the pool.

Cooked at over 1000 degrees in our traditional clay oven, Tandoor cooks up a wide variety of signature Indian delights that are uniquely spiced, yet delicately flavored. We’ll let you in on a little secret: that’s why it’s so important to us that the atrium, your first taste of your Carnival cruise, tastes like ‘wow.’ From the moment you step aboard, the atrium — the heart of the ship — simply screams “welcome aboard!” It screams it with hustle, with bustle, with music and with high ceilings featuring panoramic views of the whole scene from the upper decks. This 360-degree funspot is also the home of the Guest Services desk, the place you go if you have questions for one of our certified fun experts… about just about anything that’s on your mind.
Library
With wall-to-wall activities, most people wouldn’t think of their cruise vacation as a great time to read a book, but you’ll find the bibliophilic faithful stretched out on deck chairs, enjoying the sun, sea breeze… and a page-turner. Forgot to bring a book? E-reader battery just died? Every Carnival ship features an onboard library stocked with the good stuff. For the silent types, it’s a great place to read, but if the roar of the ocean is more your soundtrack, the library is a great place to find a good read to devour, al fresco.
Bingo
Bingo buzz fills the air. You’ve got three cards in front of you, and you’re ready to play. What will tonight’s big game be? Postage stamp? Big X? Big T? Get ready to play some crazy-exciting, hoot-and-holler-if-you-win-big bingo. Cash prizes start at $100, and a jackpot game might add another zero to the pot. Internet Café
Internet cafés harken back to kinder, simpler times — bygone days when the Internet was a place you would visit and stay a while, before returning to your “real life.” These days, with the whole Internet always right there in our pockets, we’ve forgotten the simple pleasures of surfing in moderation. A Carnival cruise is the perfect place to return to a (mostly) disconnected lifestyle — visit our onboard Internet café to check in with the outside world now and then. Perhaps do it over a cup of coffee, maybe send a photo home… but definitely don’t spend your vacation answering boring work emails. They’ll be there when you get home.
Art Exhibitions
Even if you don’t “know” much about art, of course you can still tell when you like something — who needs a refined palette to know when a piece is good? Carnival leaves snobbish cultural pretensions ashore, and makes art something that everyone can enjoy with a series of events designed to bring great art where it belongs — to the people. Take part in an art-themed battle of the sexes or check out showcases highlighting the best of, say, European artists or world-famous pop artist Peter Max. You can’t get any closer to great art… without buying it.

Dance Classes
When you’re on a Carnival cruise, there are plenty of places to bust out your moves when the mood strikes: in the dance club, at a deck party, in line for tandoori. Some people are born with all the right moves, but the rest of us need a little instruction to smooth the sharp edges off of ours. That’s why you’ll find a host of free dance classes that sail along with you, helping you make the most of your cruise… which is perfect because a cruise is just the kind of vacation that puts you in the dancing mood!
