Viking Ran
The Viking Ran Was Made for Christmas on the Rhine
There's only one itinerary on the Viking Ran's calendar and it's a good one to commit to. Christmas on the Rhine runs Amsterdam to Basel across eight days, covering four countries and eight included tours through some of the most celebrated Christmas market towns in Europe.
Named for Ran, the Norse goddess of the sea who was said to capture sailors in her net, this longship has a way of doing something similar. Hybrid engines keep the ride smooth on the longer sailing days between ports, and the Sun Deck, with its 360-degree views, putting green, walking track, organic herb garden, and solar panels, gives you outdoor space that holds its own even in December when the light is low and the river looks its most cinematic.
Staterooms run across five categories. The two Explorer Suites reach 445 square feet with wraparound 270-degree balcony views, personal coffee machine, Silver Spirits beverage package, and complimentary laundry. Book the Viking Ran today and spend the holiday season exactly where it was meant to be spent.
