Viking Rota
The Viking Rota Sails More of Europe Than Almost Any Ship in the Fleet
Six itineraries give the Viking Rota a range that most longships don't come close to matching. Named for Róta, the fierce Valkyrie associated with chaos and battle, the ship itself is measured and well-considered in the way all Viking Longships are. With 190 guests and a crew of 53, the Rota moves between rivers and seasons without losing what makes it work: the right scale, the right pace, and the right amount of space to come back to after a long day ashore.
Hybrid engines keep the ride smooth however long the sailing day runs. The Sun Deck gives you 360-degree views, a putting green, walking track, and an organic herb garden feeding the kitchen below. The Aquavit Terrace at the bow handles al fresco dining when the weather cooperates, and the panoramic-windowed Restaurant does the rest.
All 95 staterooms face the river. Standard Staterooms have a picture window at 150 square feet. French Balcony Staterooms open directly to the river through floor-to-ceiling glass. The two Explorer Suites reach 445 square feet — wraparound 270-degree balcony, personal coffee machine, Silver Spirits, and complimentary laundry included. Book the Viking Rota today and pick whichever river calls you first.
