Virgin Voyages offers cancellation terms that vary depending on when the voyage was booked and the fare option selected. Please review the applicable section below.
Bookings Made On or After October 7, 2025
Cancellation terms depend on voyage fare option:
Lock It In (Standard Cabins & Suites)
- All payments 100% non-refundable (excluding taxes/fees)
- No grace period
- No date or name changes
- No Future Voyage Credit issued
Base (Standard Cabins)
- All payments 100% non-refundable (excluding taxes/fees)
- No grace period
- No date or name changes
- No Future Voyage Credit issued
Essential (Standard Cabins)
- 120+ Days Before Sailing
- Within 7 days: Full refund
- After 7 days: Deposit converts to FVC, remaining payments refunded
- 119–45 Days Before Sailing
- Voyage fare payments non-refundable
- Payments transferred to FVC
- 44 Days or Less Before Sailing
- Voyage fare payments non-refundable
- Only secondary Sailor name changes allowed
Premium (Standard Cabins), RockStar & Mega RockStar Suites (Non-Lock It In)
- 120+ Days Before Sailing
- Within 7 days: Full refund
- After 7 days: Deposit converts to FVC, remaining payments refunded
- 119–45 Days Before Sailing
- Voyage fare payments non-refundable
- Guests may:
- Transfer payments to FVC
- Change sailing dates
- Change passenger names
- 44 Days or Less Before Sailing

- All funds paid converted to FVC
- Valid for 1 year from original sailing date

- All payments are final and non-refundable
- Booking may be transferred to another guest up to 48 hours before sailing
