Disney Cruise Line Gratuities Policy
Disney Cruise Line recommends a gratuity amount of $16.00 USD per night, per stateroom guest, including infants and children.
Prepaid gratuities are distributed to crew members serving guests in the following roles:
- Dining Room Server
- Dining Room Assistant Server
- Dining Room Head Server
- Stateroom Host
Guests staying in Concierge Staterooms and Suites are recommended a gratuity amount of $27.25 USD per night, per stateroom guest.
This amount also includes gratuities for the Assistant Stateroom Host and Concierge Lounge Team, in addition to the positions listed above.
Prepaid Gratuities
Guests can prepay optional gratuities through My Reservations in their Disney account.
Guests who booked through a travel agent should contact their travel professional to add prepaid gratuities to the reservation.
If gratuities are not prepaid before sailing, the recommended amount will automatically be added to the guest’s onboard account.
Once onboard, guests who wish to remove or adjust their optional gratuities may visit Guest Services.
Requests to refund prepaid optional gratuities can only be processed in full back to the original form of payment.
Gratuities Not Included
Prepaid optional gratuities do not include gratuities for:
- Alcoholic beverages and other extras added to Rotational Dining meals
- Adult and premium dining venues
- Food or beverages purchased from shops and outdoor or poolside locations
- Room service
- Port Adventures
- Senses Spa & Salon
- Other additional services
An 18% gratuity is automatically charged for:
- Bar and beverage purchases
- Wine
- Adult and premium dining
- Deck service tabs
- Spa services
All gratuities may be charged to the guest’s onboard account.
