Virgin Voyages Drinks Policy
Virgin Voyages does not offer traditional unlimited drink packages. Instead, Sailors can pre-purchase a Bar Tab to use toward premium beverages during their voyage.
Bar Tab System
Bar Tab is prepaid onboard credit that can be used for premium beverages across Virgin Voyages ships and at The Beach Club at Bimini.
Pre-Purchase Options
- Bar Tab must be purchased before sailing
- $200 Bar Tab + $25 bonus credit
- $300 Bar Tab + $50 bonus credit
- $500 Bar Tab + $100 bonus credit
- $750 Bar Tab + $175 bonus credit
- $1,000 Bar Tab + $250 bonus credit
Bonus credit is automatically added to eligible prepaid Bar Tab purchases.
What Bar Tab Can Be Used For
Bar Tab can be used for premium beverages including:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Specialty coffees and teas
- Fresh-pressed juices and smoothies
- Energy drinks
- Mocktails and other premium non-alcoholic beverages
Usage Rules & Key Features
- Not all Sailors in the same cabin are required to purchase a Bar Tab
- Sailors may use their Bar Tab to purchase drinks for other guests
- Bar Tab credit itself cannot be transferred to another Sailor or account
- Unused purchased or bonus Bar Tab credit is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash at the end of the voyage
Additional Notes
- Bar Tab is a pre-voyage purchase and is not sold onboard
- Bar Tab can only be used toward eligible beverage purchases and cannot be used for other onboard experiences such as spa services or Shore Things
