Virgin Voyages Drinks Policy
Virgin Voyages does not offer traditional unlimited drink packages. Instead, they provide a flexible Bar Tab system that allows Sailors to pre-purchase drink credit to use onboard.
Bar Tab System
Bar Tab is a pre-paid onboard credit option designed specifically for premium beverages across Virgin Voyages ships (and at The Beach Club at Bimini).
Pre-Purchase Options
- Bar Tab must be purchased before sailing
- Available for purchase up until 48 hours before sailing
- Common pre-purchase amounts include: $100, $200, $300, $500, $750, or $1000
- Virgin Voyages may offer bonus credit when Bar Tab is pre-purchased
What Bar Tab Can Be Used For
Bar Tab can be used to purchase premium beverages, including:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Fresh-pressed juices
- Barista-crafted specialty coffees
- Mocktails and other non-alcoholic premium options
Usage Rules & Key Features
- No cabin-wide requirement: Not all Sailors in the same cabin are required to purchase Bar Tab
- Shareable: Bar Tab may be used to purchase drinks for other Sailors
- Not refundable: Unused Bar Tab funds are non-refundable after the voyage

- Bar Tabs are not available for purchase once onboard
- All onboard purchases are made using The Band, linked to a payment method
