Entertainment - Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival LIVE cruises not only take you to great destinations, but make getting there half the fun. Sail to the usual stunning spots… and while in one port, an all-time favorite musician or comedian will board the ship and put on an amazing show. And for the entire cruise, you’re in good company — you’re sailing with a shipful of your fellow fans.
Still up this year is pro-jokester Jeff Foxworthy, plus the return of actor/comedian Chris Tucker! Recent shows have featured music legends Gladys Knight, Journey, KC & The Sunshine Band and Trace Adkins, plus the very funny Kathy Griffin and Jim Gaffigan… and the late-night legend himself, Jay Leno. Country stars Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town also took the stage.
Kids’ Activities
Carnival offers a variety of entertainment spots for youth onboard - 3D movies, dance clubs, ice cream shops, Club O2 - teen hang out place, mini golf, sport activities and much more. From as young as age 2, kids can enjoy the Camp Carnival (available on each Carnival ship). It offers tons of activities designed for children in three different age groups: 2 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, and 9 to 11 years.
Carnival counselors, each with education or childcare experience, are on the clock making sure everyone in the small groups of kids are having fun. When it’s mealtime, kids get their own menus, with faves like mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, and more. And when the sun goes down, Carnival offers Camp Carnival Night Owls (fees apply) so kids get to stay up late having fun, while their parents also enjoy themselves well into the night.
Playlist Productions
When was the last time you got up and danced… at the theater? Playlist Productions takes tunes you know and presents them like you’ve never experienced before — past favorites become full-blown musical productions featuring singers and dancers bringing down the house. Enjoy the spicy sounds of Latin Nights, or the larger-than-life favorites (and personalities) of Divas. Don't forget Motor City — which will have you dancing in your seat — or even The Brits!, a swingin’ revue of your across-the-pond favorites.
Enter the center of the groove with the passionate Heart of Soul. Rounding out the lineup is the anything-but-square Getaway Island, the arena-shaking sounds of Epic Rock, the piano-pounding 88 Keys, the totally bad-meaning-good 80s Pop to the Max, plus the funky, sophisticated... and not at all exclusive Studio VIP, where everyone’s welcome to come and get down!
Limelight Lounge
The limelight's where you want to be if you're an artist. The Limelight Lounge is too, but it's also a great place to be as a fan! Here on the stage, entertainers of all kinds — musicians, vocalists, comedians... even karaoke stars and more — make themselves at home as they practice their craft to the enjoyment of the audience. So whether it's tapping your foot, bobbing your head, laughing out loud... or of course, cheering wildly, don't forget to show the entertainers some love.
Nightclub
Get up and get down at the most happenin' club in the Caribbean. Our DJs are spinning today's hottest hits and yesterday's golden oldies, guaranteed to get you out of your seat and tapping your feet. (Hey, that rhymed!) Whether you're doing the robot or the worm or just swaying to the music, you'll want to dance 'til the sun rises. Or at least 'til last call. Oh yeah... our themed parties are pretty fun too.
DJ IRIE
Nobody can get the party started like a great DJ, right? That's why we've brought DJ IRIE into the mix (pun intended) to make the nightlife on board Carnival hotter than ever. He'll be heading up "DJ IRIE's Spin'iversity," a program designed to train our DJs to keep their spinning skills sharp and their personalities party-ready. Oh, and as for music, graduates will be spinning expanded musical catalogs in clubs across the fleet for maximum guest body-rocking.

DEAL OR NO DEAL
You know the game show with the briefcases stuffed full of money, a big red button and a mysterious banker phoning in deals? Yep, you’ve seen it on TV… and now you’ll find it on your next Carnival cruise. When it comes to Deal or No Deal at sea, there are actually TWO ways you could win — and only one of them is reserved for the lucky contestant up on the stage! It works like this: buy a game card (or save money by buying two or three), and each card you hold gives you another chance to be randomly selected to take the stage and play the fan-favorite game of eliminating briefcases throughout the rounds for a shot at $1,000. But even if you’re not selected, you’re still in the game — matches on your game card let you move up the prize board. (And up to $5,000 goes to lucky cardholders in the audience!) Of course it’s 18+ to play, but everyone’s welcome to watch the fun from the studio audience. Deal?
The Punchliner Comedy Club
Comedy clubs on land… well, it’s kinda funny. Nobody likes paying cover charges, and you know that two-drink minimum? They’ve gotta be joking! You won’t find either of these at The Punchliner Comedy Club aboard your Carnival cruise.
Up on stage you will find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. You can count on these comedians to not hold back either. Since some of them get up and say exactly what’s on their mind, we also schedule family-friendly performances… so the only red faces in the audience are from laughing a little too hard.
DIVE-IN MOVIES
Ready to see stars? Park yourself in front of the big screen — the really big screen — and settle in for some true stars with Dive-In Movies at Carnival Seaside Theater™. From the comfort of your poolside lounge chair you'll enjoy sporting events and recent blockbuster films. Or bring your suit and take in all this action from the pool itself! The screen is big and beautiful so every seat is the perfect one, but it’s more than just the view… it’s the breeze, and the joy of enjoying some great entertainment together. So come out for a show and try to remember a breezier night you’ve spent at the theater
MEGA DECK PARTY
If a deck party has the power to bring together friendly rivals BlueIguana™ and RedFrog®, you can imagine what the Mega Deck Party can do for vacationers like you! Show up to the open-air Lido Deck pool area ready to have a good time under the stars. The ship’s DJ, cruise director and entertainment staff will be on-hand to get things going… and keep everyone moving. And when we say “everyone,” that means guests of all ages are welcome at this party! Make the most of your evening with games, giveaways, line dances — and more — well into the night.
PIANO BAR
Play it again, Sam. Or Diana. Or whatever your name is. Because this is the bar where you call the shots… and the tunes. Hey songbird — pull up a seat, order your favorite cocktail and let your friendly piano player know what you’d like to hear. Then join the singalong for a hand-clapping, foot-tapping, finger-snapping good time. Don’t feel like flexing your vocal cords? No worries — hummingbirds are welcome here, too. And since the bar’s open from the evening until late at night, it’s the perfect spot for an early drink or singing ‘til the wee hours.
IMAX
To compare the IMAX® experience to “just seeing a movie” is like calling a Carnival cruise “just a vacation.” It sounds right… but experienced folks know better. That’s why stepping into the IMAX Theatre you’ll find on a Carnival cruise is more like taking a brief escape from life. On the other side of the amazing screen you’ll find a world of first run Hollywood blockbusters, recent hit films and IMAX documentaries, all in a huge format that makes normal theaters look like your smartphone screen. And the only place you’ll find IMAX at sea? On a Carnival cruise. Action!

THRILL THEATER
We’re supposed to be quiet at the movies, right? Well… that might be a little hard at Thrill Theater™. Here, the action doesn’t just stay on the screen — it makes you a part of the experience. You’ll laugh, you’ll cheer… you know, you may even scream a little. It all starts with state-of-the-art 3D video effects, but moves into even more dimensions — feel the wind in your hair, a light splash here and there, plus your seat even gets in on the action for total cinematic immersion. You know, it almost feels like going for a roller-coaster ride… in a small theater. Throughout your cruise, you’ll notice that we’ve scheduled a variety of showings — some features help bring out the laughs from kids and adults alike, while others draw out the awe with epic inspiration. FAMILY FEUD LIVE
Family Feud™ has been delighting viewers at home for generations, but you’ve never had the chance to buzz-in on a cruise ship. At least not till you’ve experienced Family Feud™ Live, now on Carnival ships! On every sailing we’re hosting games on an authentic Family Feud set, right down to the iconic Face-Off podium, plus all the excitement of Fast Money. Since we know how much entertainment the host can bring to the game, Family Feud Live is emceed by none other than your cruise director. So if you’re game, sign up your team of five for an audition. Don’t worry, we won’t judge you… but your fellow cruisers will, so make sure your team brings that Family Feud spirit to the audition! And, of course, everybody’s welcome to grab a seat in the audience to catch all the hilarious action!
