  • Selected cigar lounges
  • Selected nightclub areas
  • Designated casino slot machines while guests are actively playing

The location and availability of smoking areas vary by ship. (Cruise Vacations)

Casino Smoking

The Casino and Casino Bar are generally non-smoking, except at designated slot machines where smoking is permitted while the guest is playing.

All table games are non-smoking.

Some Princess ships also provide additional non-smoking casino areas. (Cruise Vacations)

Staterooms and Balconies

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in:

  • Guest staterooms
  • Private balconies

This restriction includes:

  • Cigarettes
  • Cigars
  • Pipes
  • Electronic cigarettes
  • Vapes and personal vaporizers
  • Other electronic nicotine-delivery systems

Violations may result in a $250 USD cleaning fee for each occurrence, charged to the guest's onboard account. (Cruise Vacations)

Repeated violations may result in the guest being disembarked before the end of the cruise without a refund and at the guest's expense. (Cruise Vacations)

Other Non-Smoking Areas

Smoking is prohibited in indoor areas except where Princess specifically designates otherwise.

Non-smoking areas include:

  • Show lounges
  • Dining rooms
  • Food-service areas
  • Other indoor public spaces not designated for smoking

Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices may only be used in designated smoking areas. (Cruise Vacations)

Disposal of Smoking Materials

Cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, and other smoking materials must be disposed of safely in designated receptacles.

Guests must never throw cigarette butts or other smoking materials overboard, as they can create a serious fire hazard.

Designated smoking areas and casino smoking arrangements may vary by ship and are subject to change.
