Silversea Cruises Smoking Policy
Silversea ships are designated as non-smoking except in specifically designated smoking areas.
Smoking is not permitted in:
- Guest suites or staterooms
- Suite balconies or verandas
- Dining venues
- Theaters
- Bars and lounges, except designated smoking venues
- Hallways and elevators
- Jogging tracks
- Most indoor areas
- Certain outdoor areas, including food venues and restricted areas
Guests who smoke in a suite or on a suite balcony may be charged a cleaning fee.
Designated Smoking Areas
Silversea provides designated smoking areas onboard. These areas are identified with signage and ashtrays, and guests may contact Guest Services for the locations applicable to their ship.
Cigarette smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas.
Cigar and pipe smoking is limited to designated outdoor areas and cigar lounges, such as Connoisseur’s Corner, where available.
Electronic Cigarettes
Electronic cigarettes and similar devices may only be used within designated smoking areas.
Tobacco Age Requirement
Guests must be at least 18 years old to purchase, possess, or use tobacco products onboard.
Cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco must be disposed of properly and must never be thrown overboard.
