Are there fitness classes onboard?
Most cruise lines offer complimentary fitness classes, Zumba, and Yoga onboard throughout the cruise; some newer ships also offer Spin and boxing classes.
Are there formal pictures taken onboard?
During your cruise, you can expect the cruise line's photographers to make appearances in the main dining rooms a few times and take pictures of you when you disembark at each port.
Are there live concerts onboard ships?
It is worth noting that while some cruise lines may offer occasional live concerts, Carnival Cruise Lines stands out for its year-round program called Carnival Live, which features a lineup of top artists.
Can I arrange dinner with my family in another cabin?
We are happy to arrange dining for your group, simply call, chat, or email us with the booking numbers and last name of each party and we will make the arrangements with the cruise line on your behalf.
Can I bring my playstation on my cruise?
Yes you can bring your playstation onboard your cruise however most of the outputs on the stateroom televisions are disabled so you may not be able to connect.
Can I get a government discount?
CruiseDirect does not offer government discounts, but they provide a variety of discounts, including for Police, Firefighters, Military, and residents. To know the discounts available for your specific sailing, please get in touch with one of their cruise experts through phone or chat.
Can I upgrade my room onboard?
Most ships will be sailing at capacity (full) which means the chances of getting an upgrade after you board are very limited. If you would like to request a paid upgrade we highly recommend contacting our team as soon as you decide to move to a better cabin.
Can I use my cell phone at sea?
You will have service when you board however once you are 3 miles out to sea you will be into International waters and data roaming will kick in - this can prove very expensive so we recommend either switching to airplane mode or purchasing the cruise line internet plan.
Does the ship have a casino?
Almost all ships have casino's onboard however there are some notable exceptions. No Disney ships have Casino's onboard and NCL's Pride of America does not have one onboard.
