Princess Cruises uses its OceanReady® digital check-in process to prepare guests for embarkation.
Guests can complete OceanReady through the Princess® Cruises App or, if needed, through Princess’s web version. Completing the process before arriving at the terminal is strongly recommended because it can make embarkation faster and easier.
OceanReady Check-In
Guests should complete the required pre-cruise information, which may include:
- Personal information
- Passport and travel-document details
- Payment information
- Passage Contract acceptance
- Security and profile photos
- Emergency contact information
- Medallion® arrangements
Guests who complete the required OceanReady steps may qualify for Princess’s faster Green Lane embarkation process.
Guests who have not completed all required steps can still check in at the terminal through the Blue Lane, where Princess staff can assist with completing the process.
Boarding Pass and QR Code
Guests can access their OceanReady boarding pass or QR code through the Princess Cruises App.
Princess recommends saving the boarding pass to a mobile wallet or device before arriving at the terminal so it remains accessible without internet service.
Guests may also print their OceanReady QR code if preferred, but Princess does not require all guests to print their cruise documents three days before sailing.
Arrival Groups
Princess is introducing Arrival Groups at participating embarkation ports.
Arrival Group selection generally opens 30 days before embarkation through the Princess Cruises App.
Guests can select an available arrival window, or Princess may automatically assign one. If no selection is made, Princess currently states that an Arrival Group may be automatically assigned approximately 24 hours before embarkation.
Arrival Groups are being introduced gradually and are not yet used at every Princess departure port.
Pre-Cruise Reservations
Guests can also use Manage Booking and the Princess Cruises App before sailing to:
- Reserve shore excursions
- Make dining reservations
- Book spa appointments
- Purchase packages
- Arrange flights and transfers
- Print luggage tags
