MSC Cruises Pregnancy Policy
For the health and safety of both the guest and unborn child, MSC Cruises does not permit guests to sail if they will be more than 23 weeks and 6 days pregnant at any time during the cruise.
Pregnant guests who will remain below this limit must provide a letter from their obstetrician or gynecologist confirming:
- The expected due date
- That the pregnancy is considered low-risk
- That the guest is fit to travel
- That the guest can safely travel without immediate access to specialized obstetric or neonatal care
Guests should also complete MSC Cruises’ Accessibility & Medical Request Form and provide pregnancy information at least 2 weeks before sailing.
MSC Cruises advises pregnant guests to consult their doctor before traveling, regardless of the stage of pregnancy.
MSC ships do not have specialized facilities for childbirth, prenatal care, or neonatal care, and onboard medical facilities may not be equipped to manage pregnancy complications or premature delivery.
