Celebrity Cruises Children's Age Requirements
Sailings from Ports Outside USA / Puerto Rico / Canada:
No guest under 18 years old will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized person over 18.
Sailings from Ports in USA (Including Puerto Rico) and Canada:
No guest under 21 years old will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized person over 21.
Individual Staterooms:
Individual staterooms may only be occupied solely by minors if they are adjacent to, directly across from, or connected to the stateroom of the parent or legal guardian.
Infant Age Requirements:
Infants must generally be at least 6 months old to sail. For transatlantic, transpacific, and certain other itineraries with longer consecutive days at sea, infants must be at least 12 months old.
Traveling with Non-Parent Adults:
Minors traveling with an adult who is not the parent or legal guardian must present a valid passport, all applicable visas, and an original affirmed or notarized letter signed by at least one parent/legal guardian authorizing the adult to take the minor on the cruise, supervise the minor, sign waivers, and permit medical treatment if necessary.
Different Surnames:
Parents/legal guardians traveling with a child who has a different surname must provide official proof of relationship, such as a full birth certificate, wedding certificate, divorce papers, or legal guardianship documentation.
Age Policies by Facility
Solarium Pool: Age 16 and over. On select sailings, children may be permitted during designated family hours when supervised by a parent or guardian.
Camp at Sea: Ages 3 through 12.
Teen Program: Ages 13 through 17.
Ports of Call: Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Fitness Center: Guests must be 16 years or older. Teenagers and children may use the running track on the open deck.
Adult Night Club/Disco: Age 18 and over.
Theater: Guests under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
Whirlpools: Guests under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Bingo: Guests under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
The Spa: Age 18 and over. Ages 13 through 17 may only be present while participating in scheduled treatments.
Casino: Age 18 and over, except on Alaska itineraries, where guests must be 21.
