Age Requirements - Celebrity Cruises

This children's age requirement policy is specific to Celebrity Cruises and is provided for your reference. The details are based on the cruise line's official information. Celebrity Cruises Children's Age Requirements

Sailings from Ports Outside USA / Puerto Rico / Canada:
No guest under 18 years old will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized person over 18.

Sailings from Ports in USA (Including Puerto Rico) and Canada:
No guest under 21 years old will be booked in a stateroom unless accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized person over 21.

Individual Staterooms:
Individual staterooms may only be occupied solely by minors if adjacent or connecting to the stateroom of the parents or legal guardian of the minor.

Traveling with Non-Parent Adults
Minors traveling with an adult who is not the parent or legal guardian must present a valid passport, all applicable visas, and an original affirmed or notarized letter signed by at least one parent/legal guardian authorizing the adult to take the minor on the cruise, supervise the minor, sign waivers, and permit medical treatment if necessary.

Different Surnames:
Parents/legal guardians traveling with a child who has a different surname must provide official proof of relationship, such as a full birth certificate, wedding certificate, divorce papers, or legal guardianship documentation.

 

Age Policies by Facility

Thalassotherapy Pool:  Age 16 and over. During inclement weather and select hours, the Solarium Pool (if covered) may be used by persons under age 16 if directly supervised by a parent or guardian.
Camp at Sea:  Ages 3 through 17, with age-specific sections.
Ports of Call:  Under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Fitness Center:  Guests must be 16 years or older. Teenagers and children may use the running track on the open deck.
Adult Night Club/Disco: Age 18 and over.
Theater:  Under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
Whirlpools:  Under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
Bingo: Under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
The Spa: Age 18 and over. Ages 13 through 17 may only be present while participating in scheduled treatments.
Casino: Age 18 and over (except for Alaska itineraries, where guests must be 21)
