Age Requirements - Costa Cruises

Costa Cruises Children's Age Requirements

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 6 months of age at the time of boarding are not allowed on board. For long cruises, including round-the-world cruises of 15 days or more and other itineraries where safety cannot be guaranteed, the minimum age for passengers is 12 months.

Infants must be at least 6 months old at the time of embarkation. They must also be at least 12 months old for transatlantic cruises, world cruises, cruises of 15 days or longer, and other itineraries where safety is a concern.

Guests aged 21 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. On certain departures, guests aged 21-24 must have at least one person who is 25 or older in the same cabin, who is responsible for the guests under 25.

Onboard Restrictions

Drinking Age:  The minimum drinking age is 21 years old for cruises departing from U.S. ports, while the minimum drinking age is 18 years old for cruises departing from non-U.S. ports.
Casino:  Guests under 18 years old may not play in the casino.
Spa Facilities:  Guests under 18 years old may not use spa facilities.
Shore Excursions:  Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a person over 18.
