Minimum Age to Sail
Infants must be at least 6 months old on the first day of the cruise.
For voyages with 3 or more consecutive days at sea, infants must be at least 12 months old on the first day of the cruise.
Guests traveling with an infant who does not meet the applicable minimum age requirement will be denied boarding.
Regent states that no refund or other compensation will be provided to the underage infant or accompanying guests if boarding is denied for this reason.
Guests Under 18
Any guest under age 18 must:
- Be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older
- Occupy the same suite or stateroom as that adult
Traveling Without a Parent or Legal Guardian
A guest under 18 who is traveling with someone other than their own parent or legal guardian, such as a grandparent, relative, or family friend, must carry Regent's required parental or guardian authorization.
Current Regent contract terms require:
- A consent form signed by both parents or guardians
- Authorization for the minor to travel
- Authorization for medical treatment in an emergency
- The original signed form at embarkation
- Copies of both parents' passports or driver's licenses
Failure to provide the required documentation may result in denied boarding without a refund.
