AmaWaterways Gratuities Policy
Gratuities are not included in the standard cruise fare and are left to each guest’s discretion. Guests may prepay gratuities for their river cruise and certain pre- or post-cruise land packages, or pay gratuities onboard.
For a 7-night Europe river cruise, AmaWaterways currently recommends:

The ship’s crew gratuity is divided among crew members.
The Cruise Manager is an AmaWaterways representative and is separate from the ship’s crew. For pre- or post-cruise land packages, AmaWaterways recommends an additional €5 per guest, per day for the Cruise Manager.
Gratuities may generally be paid by credit card or cash. Additional tips remain at the guest’s discretion.
