MS Maud
Experience the Wonders of the Arctic with MS Maud
For outdoor enthusiasts seeking an adventure and delicious food, MS Maud is a great option. This 528-passenger vessel, named after Roald Amundsen's 1917 ship "Maud" from Norway, offers a 15-day round-trip from Stavanger to the North Cape from November to March. In the spring, the trip goes from Dover to Scotland's west coast, taking in the Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Ireland and the Western Isles. An Expedition Team of experts is onboard including an expedition leader, whale and dolphin watcher, geologist, micro-biologist, historian, and photographer. MS Maud offers comfortable, public areas and two outdoor hot tubs from which to enjoy the stunning views of Norway and Scotland's coastline. Food is outstanding and includes waiter-served set menus with wine and beer for lunch and dinner and a buffet breakfast. However, this is an expedition ship with few port stops, no Cruise Director and no evening entertainment. If you're looking for an outdoor experience and excellent food, MS Maud is the perfect choice. But, it's not suitable for those wanting family activities, onboard entertainment or nightlife.
