Royal Caribbean International Children's Age Requirements
Minimum Age to Sail Unaccompanied
For North America sailings, guests must be at least 21 years old to sail without an adult companion. Guests under the age of 21 must be booked in a stateroom with an adult aged 21 or older. Exceptions apply for children traveling in connecting staterooms with parents or guardians, married couples under the age of 21 (proof of marriage required), and active-duty U.S. or Canadian military members (proof of service required).
For sailings from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, guests must be at least 18 years old to sail unaccompanied. Royal Caribbean reserves the right to modify the minimum age requirements based on local laws and regulations.
Infant Age Requirements
Infants must be at least 6 months old to sail. For transatlantic, transpacific, Hawaii, and select South American voyages that include three or more consecutive days at sea, infants must be at least 12 months old. Guests traveling with an infant who does not meet these age requirements will be denied boarding, with no refunds or compensation provided.
