An Epic Adventure on Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas Cruise
Wonder of the Seas is the biggest ship in the world, offering a wide variety of activities, entertainment, dining, and experiences. It stands out for providing surprisingly tranquil experiences, like evenings at the Central Park Boardwalk and relaxing days in the Solarium. Plan ahead, however, as entertainment and specialty dining reservations fill up fast and can be more expensive than the industry average. The deck plan of Wonder of the Seas is massive and complex. Clustered along Decks 4, 5 and 6 are the Casino, the robotic Bionic Bar, Bolero's, the Schooner Bar, and the Aquatheater. Out on the aft of Deck 6, passengers will find the Boardwalk, with a carousel and other attractions. On Decks 15 and 16, there are the Ultimate Abyss slides, the Flowrider surfing simulator, a zipline, and more pools, bars, and hot tubs. Passengers looking for a quieter experience can go to the Solarium on Deck 15 or the Central Park on Deck 8. The cabins come in a variety of options, from economical inside rooms to luxurious suites. Balcony cabins can overlook either the ocean or the ship's inner courtyard and windowed rooms can look out at the ocean or the Royal Promenade. The two-story Ultimate Family Suite on Deck 18 comes with an indoor slide and air hockey table. The food aboard Wonder of the Seas is plentiful, from the largest Windjammer buffet to a three-story dining room to specialty dining venues. Suite passengers get to dine in the exclusive Coastal Kitchen. Wonder of the Seas is the newest in the Oasis-class ships, with additional features like the Suite Neighborhood and Vue Bar. It is also more technologically enhanced, with wall treatments, carpeting, and artwork throughout the ship. For the most up-to-date COVID-19 protocols, please refer to Royal Caribbean's health and safety guidelines and Cruise Critic's guide to masking requirements.
