Every detail aboard reflects Viking's signature Scandinavian design, from the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant to the Aquavit Terrace at the bow, where guests can enjoy outdoor dining with river views.
Choose from 53 outside staterooms, all with river views, ranging from Standard Staterooms to Veranda Suites with separate sitting areas and private verandas. On the Sun Deck, you’ll find a swimming pool, a putting green, an herb garden, and solar panels. Whether you're enjoying local wine or relaxing after a day of exploration, Viking Sol offers a comfortable and convenient way to experience the Douro River.

Bars & Lounges
Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, the sun-filled Viking Lounge is a peaceful, serene and casual-the ideal place to read a book, compare notes about the day’s discoveries with new friends or watch the scenery pass by.
Located in the Lounge, the bar is lively and inviting - a gathering place for guests to view the scenery, have a drink and catch up on the day with friends.

Onboard Activities
The middle deck reception lobby area is a great place to get information during your journey. Your Program Director’s desk is located here so that you can easily ask questions or discuss the day’s activities. There are a 24-hour tea and coffee station with a fruit basket and convenient restrooms.
Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while you take in 360-degree views of the scenery. Stand at the railings or relax in a comfortable deck chair. Some of the seating has a canopy for those who prefer shade. The sun deck is adjacent to the Sky Bar and there is an access way to the bridge.
