Is there a credit check required to use FlexPay?Yes, for US residents, FlexPay will perform a soft credit check when you apply for financing to verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. A soft credit inquiry does not affect your credit score. FlexPay does not perform a hard credit inquiry. How long do I have to pay off my FlexPay loan?The length of your FlexPay loan will depend on the payment plan you select during the booking process. Can I make multiple payments?

If you would like to make smaller incremental or monthly payments on your cruise using your credit card on file you may request this with one of our travel advisers. If you would like to use a different credit card please contact a team member to assist you.  Incremental payments cannot currently be made online in your account.

How do I make my final payment?

Final payment of the balance must be received by the cruise line at least 75 days prior to the sailing date for 2, 3, or 4-night cruise vacations and typically 90-120 days prior to the sailing date for 7-night or longer cruise vacations, please check the cancellation schedule for your particular cruise line in our Cancellation section or see your confirmation email for your specific final payment date. You may also check your booking online by accessing My Account.The payment schedule for group reservations, luxury cruise products, charters, and exotic cruises vary and you should confirm these days on your email confirmation from us.You will receive an email notification from us approximately 5 days prior to your final payment date reminding you to click on your booking link and make your final payment electronically.If you would like to use another form of payment other than a credit card for your final payment please note that payment must be cleared by our accounting department a minimum of 14 days prior to your final payment date.

What is FlexPay and how does it work?FlexPay gives you the freedom to purchase what you want now and pay over time with simple fixed installments. Some plans include interest while some are interest-free. When you’re ready to checkout, just select “FlexPay” as your payment method, complete a short application, and receive a quick decision. Pending approval, choose the terms of your payment plan, finish checking out, and enjoy your purchase. Then, pay over time with simple, no-surprise monthly payments. Can I use FlexPay to book travel for someone else?Yes, you can use FlexPay to book travel for someone else. During the booking process, you'll be able to specify the traveler's name and contact information. What types of trips can I book with FlexPay?You can use FlexPay to book flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.

Do I need to create an account to use FlexPay?There is no requirement to register for an account with FlexPay prior to applying for a loan. If you take out a loan through FlexPay, you can sign up for an account in FlexPay's Member Portal at upgrade.com/pay where you will be able to see your loan details and payment history. How do I reset my FlexPay account password?Please visit FlexPay's Member Portal at upgrade.com/pay to manage your FlexPay account.

How do I make payments on my FlexPay booking?You can make a payment anytime by visiting upgrade.com/pay and clicking on the Loans tab. From there, click the Make a Payment button.We recommend that you enable AutoPay at time of purchase so that your payments are automatically deducted each month.If you don’t have AutoPay enabled, visit upgrade.com/pay, click on the Accounts page, and set the AutoPay toggle to ON.You can also change the form of payment on file with FlexPay anytime by visiting upgrade.com/pay. Can I change or cancel my FlexPay booking?Yes, you can change or cancel your FlexPay booking. However, cruise line fees may apply depending on the type of booking and how close it is to your departure date. To initiate a change or cancellation, please contact CruiseDirect. How does FlexPay handle refunds?If you need to cancel your booking and are eligible for a refund based on the cruise line’s refund policy, we will send FlexPay the refund and FlexPay will apply the refund to your account balance and credit back all remaining funds to your payment method used to make the initial payment. In the event that you no longer have that method of payment (e.g., you used a card that is no longer valid), FlexPay will work with you to issue an electronic refund through Zelle. If you receive a refund for less than the balance owed, you are still responsible for the outstanding loan balance and your monthly payments remain the same until your balance is paid in full.
